Vantage ambulance vehicles are offered in both gas-powered and electric models. Electric ambulance vehicles are ideal for eco-conscious organizations, offering zero emissions and quiet operation. Gas-powered ambulances, on the other hand, provide excellent power and longer range, making them suitable for extended shifts or locations with limited charging infrastructure. Both options ensure reliable performance for medical and emergency use.

FAQs

Find answers to common questions about our vehicles, customization options,
and purchase process.

Can I customize my vehicle?

Our vehicles offer a diverse selection of factory options, encompassing various features such as battery pack capacities, tipper dump capabilities, trash hopper arrangements, turf tires, ladder rack installations, aluminum stake beds, tool boxes, and many additional options and accessories.

Can I charge from a standard outlet?

Yes, our vehicles are compatible with a standard 110-volt wall outlet or can be charged on 220 volts with an appropriate adapter. Vantage recommends charging from a dedicated circuit with a 20 amp breaker as the on-board charger draws over 15 amps when in use.

Are they street legal?

Yes, our electric vehicles are street legal in most states on roads posted at 35 MPH or less, and reach a maximum speed of 25 MPH. Check your local laws and regulations for Low Speed Vehicles.

How long do the electric vehicles take to charge?

Using a standard 110-volt outlet, charging typically takes approximately 6 to 7 hours. Charging from an EV charging point at 240v with the optional J1772 package will cut charge times by 40%.

How far can I travel on a single charge?

With our standard 100 Amp battery pack, our vehicles can travel approximately 35 miles, depending on factors such as driving habits, road conditions, weather, and vehicle load. Battery pack options are available that can increase the range to approximately 75 miles.

What is the warranty?

Our standard warranty covers the complete vehicle for 12 months or 10,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The motor and controller are backed by a 2-year warranty, while the battery pack carries a 30-month warranty from the shipping date, with the final 18 months prorated.
